Castle
of Nogarole Rocca, that has the first mention in
1232, was probably created in the early thirteenth century,
thanks to the “Nogarola”.
At the end of '300 it remained for decades owned by the
rule of Scaligeri and at the end, under
the venetian domination.
At the mid-sixteenth century it is passed to the ownership
of the family Bevilacqua Lazise and at
the end of ‘800 under the family called Barbieri.
Corte della Rocca Bassa
is a rural complex including a large number of building
of the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries made up near
the castle La Rocca and known as the “country houses”
(bastie) of it.
Some buildings are now completely restored and, even the
modern changing, represent a beautiful example of the
middle age architecture.
